I'm not sure exactly what species but on washington either the bluegill or pumpkinseeds are spawning. While walking the arboretum today I saw numerous beds and fish protecting them. I wiggled a little jig in one bed to see how aggresive they are - I think they would attack ME if I stepped in their beds!

Shot out to Ohop for a bit after work last night. Caught a few of the small males Slab talked about and found that they didn't put the throttle assembly together correctly when they had my motor in the shop, after it stuck wide open.

Back to the shop today but I'm hoping to be on the water tomorrow searching for some fish.

FWIW: Big boats are hell to get on a trailer without your motor :D

That is about the worst boat launch on earth. I may try to hit Tanwax or Ohop after the tourney this Saturday. I'll post a report if anything is biting. I have feeling these coldfronts may have shut down the spawn. The good news is that they'll be forced to head back up shallow when the weather gets better.

You know I will Koke :D. I haven't been getting home until 8pm during the week lately. I've been reduced to a full time weekend warrior .
