    Sorry for the late response - St. Claire is a very fickle lake.

    People like to say the fishing is only for a few small fish - but the fish in there get huge - they just don't act like fish in other lakes.

    Tried getting info from one of the local fisheries experts (and this lake is one of his studies) and said that even the folks who do good here really cannot understand this lake.

    Takes a whole lotta learning of the structure - and even more luck if you want the big boys.

    well this is how it went...water temp 61......cloudy~rain..... I caught 9 fish.....none were big enough I heard a total of 12 other fish caught between the other ten anglers none of them were big enough.....


    I do really aprecate the help will use it in the future, it does look like a lake with a lot of promis but just do not fish it durring a cold front......

    they had to check teh by-laws it either goes into the club or getts carried over and added to the next tourny.... samamish....

    Dang!!!! no just kidding I feel I did pretty well compared to the rest of the people fish and that is all I am trying to do....And win angler of the year.....
