Hey, i was on lake stickney last weekend and the water temp was around 60. I was just wondering when the crappie start spawning.

Honestly, i catch more crappie at Stickney than i do Lake Cassidy. To be fair though ive never had much luck at Cassidy.Ive caught plenty of crappie out of Stickney, this was in the summer though. The biggest Crappie ive caught out of Stickney was a 12 incher.

huh, i use to fish there a few years ago and i never got one. i'll have to try it out.....more around the lillys or the docks?

As far as the crappies go, there scattered, i prefer to fish the lillies, i dunno if they actually fish better or not, but i know that area a lot more than the other side. this summer im gonna be doing more fishing there and ill probably fish the otherside to see how it fishes.
