    Yo' Bassman,

    I think they are mistaken.
Those weren't walleyes they were catchin', just really big perch.
Seriously, I've fished that lake all of my life, and so has my whole family.
You'd think someone would have caught quite a few on bass plugs if
they were in there. I've heard of 400lb dead sturgeon washing up,
but no walleye. Sorry. But if ya' do find 'em share the wealth.
I get tired of pulling the boat over the pass.

I've also heard that lake washington has a small population of walleyes but I have only known of one person that claims to have caught them. According to the people at WDFW and their surveys there aren't any walleye but it is a big lake

There have been many reports of walleyes in Lake Washington but I've yet to catch one myself. I have seen pictures of walleyes that people claimed came out of L Washington but who knows. Now sturgeon, freshwater eels, goldfish, and tench are in there without question.

You really should give it a try. Lake Washington has some of the biggest smallies to be caught in this state. The only other body of water that I can think of that has as many if not more 5+lb smallies is the lower Yak.
