is that gonna be with the rainier bass club koke?

i think those slider grubs should work good. i bet jimmy was using the crappie sliders though . i got the 1"ers, i figured they would work better for perch and bluegill. his slider heads and worms are great!

    Hey guys,

I'm stuck down here in Long Beach California working for Sea Launch, a company that sends satellites into space. Came here to get into Boeing. My beautiful wife and I just bought a home off the Mukilteo Speedway between Lynnwood and Mukilteo on Serene Lake. I have another 8 months to go down here before I return home.

I can't add to anything you guys are doing because I'm down here doing penance. However, I would like you all to know that you make my day because soon I'll be up there being a contributing member to the forum.

Thanx to all of you for keeping it real for me.

Thanks for the info Slab. I'm working 4/10's now so i should have plenty of time to get my fish on.

Can you guys post some info on the crappie lakes up north. I plan on hitting a lot of different lakes this season, and i've never fished north of seattle.

Ck- I have only gone to one meating and i told them right off that I would not be able to make most of them do to the time, they are completly ok with that. Iif you can make one every three months or so I think that would be fine.

HookSetter I can not wait for you to get up here and get some fish!

Chris I have no idea the same as you but we should hit it up some time and get our fish on yeah! get our fish on yeah! (sounds like a Missy Eliot song)

Those are what I call....fishermans hours right there. That's about as close as you can get to a perfect work schedule :D.

Some good northend lakes to try are Big, Cassidy, Samish, and Campbell. All of them have nice crappie. Big lake is real shallow and should turn on around mid-April. The crappie spawn right in the cattails along the shore. On Cassidy I like to fish the deeper water near the south end inlet/outlet with a slip float. The crappie will suspend out in the middle of the cove there. It's a pain to launch a bigger boat though. There's a small lake called Chain Lake that has a ton of crappie in it. I've never caught one over 10" but there are a lot of fish in there. I haven't been up there for 8 years now but it was electric only then. Might want to check the regs before fishing that one. But the biggest sleeper lake up there is Cottage. It's a cartop only launch but my god, there are some nice crappie and largemouths in that little lake.

Hooksetter, hang in there. The fish aren't going anyplace. We'll all have to hook up for a day of fishing when you get back up here.

Koke, we'll be out chasing those bass again this year. I'm about 10mins from American Lake and she's full of big smallies. I'll run up and fish Washington whenever you have some time this season. You still have to show me how to catch those Kokes on Meridian too. Did you hear what the state did down there? They put a grate across the stream so the kokes couldn't spawn up in the stream. I heard guys where taking buckets full of fish home this fall. The kokes were forced to try and spawn in the swimming area.
