I was down at Silver this past weekend. If there is a limit and size restriction on the crappie the people down there sure don't know about it. I saw some guys catching buckets full of 7-8 inch crappie off the side of the road down from the resort. Saturday was the most miserable (wind and rain) day I have ever fished but the perch, bream and crappie were biting real good. Sunday morning was real nice. No wind or rain and a real good view of St Helens. The crappie were most time less than 9 inches but my little boy caught a lot of nice size perch and bream by the culvert than runs under the road.

Unfortunately, I believe it. The only way that will stop is if the WDFW is down there handing out boatloads of tickets....Some folks really don't care...
