I plan on being down there about 5 or 6 Sat. morning. Does anybody know what time the resort and or park allow you to launch? I'm really hoping the bites on also, my freezer isn't looking so good right now.

Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife NEWS RELEASE
WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE
600 Capitol Way North, Olympia, WA 98501-1091

Silver Lake boat ramp closed to trailer use

VANCOUVER--The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife boat ramp at Silver Lake in Cowlitz County has been closed for launching boats on trailers.

The ramp was closed for safety reasons since the recent breach in the lake's dam occurred.

The access site's parking lot remains open and canoes, car-top boats and other smaller vessels still can be launched at the site.

The ramp closure for trailers likely will remain in effect through the summer.

I was sure they fixed it since May of 1999. I'm gonna still get there around 5 or 6. If I can't launch then i'll sleep till I can.

I plan on getting there at about 730 because it is not going to get light till then or later.

Ck I am going to brin a big container of crawlers, the lake is full of cats though not large they are a lot of fun and if you have a lantern, bring it the crappie will school up around the dock at the resort...
