From what I've seen the year I've been here, not much Crappie fishing going on. I check the Washingtonlakes.com reports and rarely see anything about Crappie.
Slab has changed the default view for our Washington forum so we can see more than just the last 30 days when we log on. There is a wealth of good info in here which will hopefully spark some discussion.

Luck has nothing to do with it, it's how you wiggle your worm.
Yes it is a sad state of affairs here unfortunately. There are a lot of crappie here and by looking at past activity there are or were a lot of folks fishing for them. I don't know what happened but it all seemed to have died. Slab is going to send me some stickers that I will take around to some of the tackle shops around here to put in their windows to see if anyone else shows some interest.
Have you been getting out at all?
Been slow here for awhile now. Tons of guys out fishing and catching slabs......just not posting much I guess. Guys stop me all the time when they see the Crappie.com decal on my tow rig though. Crappie fishermen around these parts are a tight lipped bunch :o.
Haven't been out on the water in my yak for about a month. Been fishing for trout from the docks at Harry Todd Park and at Spanaway Lake.

I wish some of the folks who have been fishing for crappie here in Washington would chime in and those of us who are rather new could sure benefit from their experience.
Federal Witness Protection Program......just kidding lol. Still fishing just not posting much these days. Fish are biting good on Kapowsin, Ohop, Tanwax (nice fish this year), Rapjon, Sawyer (really nice fish this year but they are deep) and Union for sure. Heading to Potholes this weekend to checkout the night bite.
I love to catch crappies but every time I fish for them I get perch. They're good eating too, but just not crappies. I'm in Eastern Washington, with an almost non existant gas budget, so I'm limited to Newman Lake. Newman has crappies, but they are few and far between. In the mean time, I'll eat perch, but it really takes a lot for a meal. It think I'll try them on a fly rod next.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
