Default Slab changed the default view for us

Slab has changed the default view for our Washington forum so we can see more than just the last 30 days when we log on. There is a wealth of good info in here which will hopefully spark some discussion.

From what I've seen the year I've been here, not much Crappie fishing going on. I check the Washingtonlakes.com reports and rarely see anything about Crappie.
Luck has nothing to do with it, it's how you wiggle your worm.

Yes it is a sad state of affairs here unfortunately. There are a lot of crappie here and by looking at past activity there are or were a lot of folks fishing for them. I don't know what happened but it all seemed to have died. Slab is going to send me some stickers that I will take around to some of the tackle shops around here to put in their windows to see if anyone else shows some interest.
Have you been getting out at all?

Been slow here for awhile now. Tons of guys out fishing and catching slabs......just not posting much I guess. Guys stop me all the time when they see the Crappie.com decal on my tow rig though. Crappie fishermen around these parts are a tight lipped bunch :o.

Federal Witness Protection Program......just kidding lol. Still fishing just not posting much these days. Fish are biting good on Kapowsin, Ohop, Tanwax (nice fish this year), Rapjon, Sawyer (really nice fish this year but they are deep) and Union for sure. Heading to Potholes this weekend to checkout the night bite.

Did you ever make it out to Potholes? I've been fishing it off the dock during the day for the past month and been doing decent, catching 5-10 keeper crappie and a bunch of smaller ones every time I've made it up there. It might be a real good year next year, since a lot of the fish I've been catching have been around 8 inches. I might go there this weekend and try renting a boat since I've heard they're lowering the water and try for walleye off Goose Island.

I didn't make it over that weekend. Had issues installing a new fuse block on my boat. We did go to Moses on the 14th. Never made it over to Potholes. Moses was on fire up crab creek (aka Parker Horn) on the sunken islands. I hope to head over that way at least once a week from here through Oct.
