    Unhappy potholes dock tourny report

well the fishing wasn't to good over at the potholes this weekend. only got 1 crappie about 10" out of moses. the crappie were hitting real good at the dock.....but almost all of them were under 9" . there was quite a few perch being caught at the dock as well (all under 8"). the bass were hitting okay.....but they were all small as well . biggest largie i could get was about 1 1/2lbs and biggest smallie was 3/4lb. i just couldn't get a big bite the whole tourny. it really sucked. got most of my bass on a drop shot senko.

    better luck next year

Sorry to hear your luck wasn't better CK. We had 47 perch from 9-12 inches on Friday and another 25 today. I think we'll hit them one more time on Tuesday before my dad heads back to Tennessee.

Heck, at least you gave it a try man.

BPM (from the fishingfools forum) and I hit Union lastnight for a few hours. Nothing but little bass out there as well. Biggest fish might have went 1.5lbs. I'm going to spend next Saturday working nothing but deep rock points to try and track down the bigger fish.

There are a TON of coho out there though. We spotted some big schools on the depth finder and even had one jump right next to the boat near the Cut.

most of those near the cut are not coho, as urban and I found out, lets just say don't cast cranks for bass in that area.
