I was going to give it a shot on Saturday night. Another two weeks of this cooler weather and they'll be schooling for sure.

Good job koke Duck lake is my favorite largemouth lake in west wash. usually great crappie and bluegill too-- but i've never caught any perch. Got 8 salmon this weekend off Oakhead point across from Seabeck, you can't beat a 4 fish limit these days. Did Kapowsin yesterday, bad weather -the slabs appear to be schooling up already, got 5 keepers, plus the bluegills are biting. kapowsin ramp pic.

Ok, I'm not jealous of Cajun anymore. Got a chance to go on a legendary NightStalk with Rango, Crappie Eye and Cajun in S. Carolina earlier this week. The bite wasn't great, but it was a blast!
Rango posted pics on the Wylie 9/18 post on the South Carolina board.
By the way, nice catch Kokanee!

it appears the bite has started here here at wylie. the last couple outings iv made and one my pards, ot, has made, the big boys have been hitting. i hate you hit us at a bad time but you gotta go when you can go and unfortuantly that time of year is traditionally a bad time for nightstalking. you guys get another chance to come back this way let me know and well work out another nightstalk.
