    The Potholes Reservoir (MarDon Resort) south of Moses Lake is usually a good place for crappies. Also Eloika Lake north of Spokane, although their size isn't much to brag about.
    Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
    But don't forget the Roadrunners

    when I lived in Tumwater we used to fish the Deschutes River where it run through the Tumwater golf course and the old Olympia Brewery property. my brother caught a crappie there a long time ago. even now I find that odd because it's a small river but he did catch it in a slack water pool, the current was on other side, where we'd catch the trout

    for a lot of information for you people that live in Washington state for panfish you can contact Oregon Bass panfish club they have a ton of information pertaining to your state loss of the people in Portland area come over there to fish.
