either sounds good what species. I can only do it sat and I need to be back by 4pm, But it sounds like fun, i have fished both but only had marginal success on one the other was a war zone of wind!
To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D

My vote is for Meridian. There's nice fish in there but they are not easy to catch. I'm up for any place though. I know some of guys live further up north and might not want to drive to Kent. Does everyone here have an electric? I know a few smaller lakes but you have to leave the big motors up and ride on electric only.

You can still get a ticket if the motor is up even if the prop is off and there is not gas, and you put a black plastic bag over it.... so if we do meridian that would be for bass rite?

I may have to call WDFW and ask them to clear this up. I was fishing for crappie on a zipper lake and the warden said fishing from a boat with a gas motor was fine as long as it was up. She claimed that you could only get a ticket if the lake is marked (internal combustion motors not allowed) in the reg book.

But yeah, Meridian would be a great lake for a bass contest. Smallies and largemouths. It might take a 6lber to win though.

I'll fill you guys in on all the details......after the weigh-in

Nah, it's pretty standard bass fishing there. Lizards, grubs, and topwaters. The dock bite can get really good if it's cloudy. If the sun is out you want to work the deep water 15-30' or get WAY up in the pads and flip. I can give better info through PM.
