I went out for a little this evening and caught a small largie, and that was it.
ya think the largies are spawning? because were i caught mine the other day i got 2 and had a 3rd one on and when one of them was on, another one came right up next to it. and those fish were FAT! and they were all in the same spot.

do u guys know where the perch are right now, how deep are they?
i caught one when i was at kenmore that was about 11"-12". it was in about 4' of water and was very skinny. it's vent was also very red and raw. it looked like it had spawned out.

t(s)tinner and I went out yesterday for a few hours. The fishing was slow for the bass. We both only got one smallie. Lots of crappie and a perch or two with a couple tiny bluegill thrown in. I was gonna do a big report on the crappie spawn but my camera batteries were dead.....and I was hung over. I did a little chumming thanks to the hang over:D Thanks for hanging in there with me T.
The crappie are starting to spawn on the bigger lakes. Males and females are in about 6 feet of water. None of the males had on the dark spawning colors yet so I'd guess that they'll be on beds by next weekend with the full moon coming. We caught some nice sized ones out there. T even caught one on a 4inch grub.
Hey guys - check out the Aqua-vu website, they have underwater video footage shot by Larry Gonzcy of Auburn Sports Marine most of which was shot in Lake Washington-- cool pics of crappie and jumbo perch, ect. I think Larry passed away recently. later

yeah slab, thanks for the ride it was nice and even got to do a lil bikini watching...i mean casual glancing. had a great time even though i suck as a fisherman. guys if you havent fished with slab yet i will give you one piece of advice. dont turn your back on him, if you do he will have caught fish and put them back without you ever knowing it he is that on it. it seemed like every cast the man was pulling in a crappie and i was doing the exact same thing (almost eh slab) he was doing. it just goes to show that time on the water is what it is all about. its rare for someone to just be a natural i believe.
til next time SK.

i meant that i was applying the same tactics as slab not pulling a fish in on every cast. hardly.
