Welcome aboard Spudrocket. Do you carry a spudrocket onboard to shoot the jetskiers? If so, can I borrow it:D.

I've never tried Riffe but have heard the stories of nice crappy down there. Alder lake is another one that I'd like to try.

CK14 ~ I'll check out Blueberry tomorrow and thursday. Live bait is supposed to be best for the lings. I've always done good casting 6 inch grubs from the bank. I know one hell of a good bank spot downtown for lings and rockbass.

Slab- I know Alder well . very hard lake to fish for crappie and bass . perch and kokes easy. usually cloudy milky water full of half sunk logs, ect. with constant
changes in water level. perch 11-12 inch. caught a 5.6 largemouth 4 years ago
they say there is smallmouth but I never got any. good boat launch. My neighbor showed me a photo of 5 slabs from Riffe last year around 15"- creep
wouldn't share location , except to say out from the incoming creeks.

Another small crappie lake worth a try might be crescent lake, but you need a car topper. Same with cottage lake in woodinville.

Most likely from the dock it is pretty big and offers lots of shade and spawning areas near by..

Yeah, it's gonna be ruff weather this weekend. You might be able launch into Union early (like 5:30am) on Sat. Those launches are gonna be a war zone. All those "boaters" that only use their boats twice a year will be at the launches:D. Yelling at their wives to "back the damn boat in straight", leaving the trailer in the water while they load up the dog, coolers, check to make sure they brought PFD's, and just BS'n in general. You're more of man than me if you head out there on Sat LOL!! You can't get into Union from Lake WA though. They close the Cut from the early am until 3 or 4pm. Last year some of the guys in the bass tourney got stuck in Union and the coast guard wouldn't let them back into Lake Wa so they missed the weight-in.
