the beauty of the snake is you wont see many boats out there. That has to be the most underfished body of water in the state.

I guide for warmwater fish on the Snake (Brownlee Reservoir). Great fishing for crappie and cats.I run my trips out of Richland, Oregon on the Powder River arm of Brownlee. The reservoir is down about 50' now in anticipation of heavy spring runoff. Lots of snow in the high country this year. The resv. should start filling in May and be close to full pool by Memorial Day. Check with me for current conditions before coming if you wish.

Been to Brownlee a few times and hope to get down there again this summer and again in the fall to mix some fishing with bird hunting. Also went a little farther south on the Snake near Weiser and caught some good crappie and nice channel cat. Its all good.
