I was fishing perch once and I kept catching females that would start birthing while I was releasing them. I think I caught like 20 females before I got a male.

its the only pier i know of, its a fishing pier just south of where the ferry takes off at, drive like you are going to take the ferry, but get into the left lane and turn left on dayton i believethe road goes over some train tacks then curves left and then right. there is lots of moorage down there so you walk to the northern most moorage area and you will find the walkway to the pier. there is also a bait and tackle shop down therethat is south of the pier. i know htese are not the most clear directions ever but maybe it will help a little

i was thinking about going today. it wasn't the rain that stopped me but the wind. when its windy i have trouble feeling them bite and therefore can't set the hook. you will see most people casting out a ways, but i get llots of bites just dropping it straight down, as long as it is far away enough from one of the big pilings

I thought it was just us, both me and my wife are crazy about fishing. We were catching boatloads of crappie, bass , perch and trout until early November. We took our boat out to local lakes haf a dozen times since then and have nothing to show for it, just a couple skinny trout on Dick Nites. Where canwe get some decent fishing action this time of year?
