Thumbs up All Lakes Reports Here.....What do you have to report?

I thought it would be good to start some early reports here. American is starting to go with low numbers of Sm on senko and the perch on jig/worms are deep and a little slow. Alder is to slow to even bother 1 Sm and a sm slab. Spanaway 1 lmb just starting to get the water temp up then the cold 33 degree mornings to bring it all down. Federal way lakes today if wind calms down. Blown of American early this morning.

Smallmouth are just starting to bite good on Sawyer off points in 20' to 35' of water. Nothing showing in the backwater areas yet. Found a few crappie suspended off the big main lake point 14' down from the surface. Only got three to bite by using a jig under a slip float set to 12' and allowed to drift over the point.

Going to check out Whitman this Sunday for bass and crappies. The plan for now is to troll jigs in the north end.

I've heard that the crappies and perch are starting to move out of the canals on Silver. Some guys are still having 200+ fish days but not many over 10".

For every 100 fish you'll get one over ten inches back in the canals.

I went once 2 weeks ago for crappie and caught 1 crappie in the middle of a lake. Seems like the lake I was fishing is starting to become a better crappie lake with larger fish though. I'm probably going to head down to Silver next week for a day and see how it goes.

:D Exactly :D There are some nice fish in there but you either have to pick through tons of little guys or get away from Streeters.

Checked out Dolloff on Sat 4/17. Trolled mid-lake, worked the laydowns that had deep water under them, also checked areas leading up to the spawning flats. Nothing :D. Spotted one nice bass hanging out in the tops of a downed tree just soaking up some sun. Tossed cranks, senkos, and 6" Hudd at her but she would not go. Water temps from 50-54.

Felt good to be out on the water though. Got the boat back from the shop on Friday and had to take it out. Found some issues with GPS/Depth Finder on the console. Better get that worked out before heading to the big lakes. I think I need to replace some old wiring.
