I haven't taken a shower in so long I'm starting to smell like a fish. But I don't think that counts. We should go friday, you don't have school. We should do thursday night for some crappie.

I've been slaying the Chum in the Sound from the bank for two weeks now. Starting to get a nice stock of eggs to feed to Steelhead next month. Checked out Union a few days ago and the crappie, bass, and perch or biting something fierce from sundown to about 2am. Forget about fishing during the day...the night bite is on! Hard bottom Drop-off + Weedline = fish for the next month and half.

I'll try to make it out Sat night and post some pics and a good report. Heading out to the Skok Sunday morning so I might not make it out but I'll try. Tight lines fellas.

Yeah, just use a 4inch dink float with a mooch double hook setup. I like the bait to be about 2 feet under the float. If you fish the mouth of a river or the beaches you can see the fish and just cast it about 4 feet in front of them. Every 40 seconds or so pull the float about 4 feet and let the bait drop back down again. They will slam it lol. Spool up as much line as your reel can take because these fish will spool you if you don't have enough line on the spool.

Green Marabou jigs are killing them right now as well. Use one under a float and just slowly reel the jig past them.

They are kinda like Pinks. They can be in 20 feet of water but they will school up and swim right under the surface. They don't really jump much like Pinks but they will roll on the surface and show their fins. A lot of times you'll see them roll right next to your float. That's when you want to slowly pull the float forward and hang on :D.

At the mouth of rivers tide doesn't really matter if they are in thick. Out going is great though...on the beach and rivers. If they are there they will bite no matter what tide it is. They just seem to go a little more nuts on the out going.
