I'm a relatively new walleye fisherman in Arkansas. We do have world class walleye fishing here on Greers Ferry Lake--Home of the current world record, Bull Shoals Lake, and several more like Norfork, Beaver, etc.

My question is this. Where do the eyes go when it's 100 degrees outside? The folks I talk to don't seem to think the fishing is very good this time of year, but that can't be so, they still eat. I think people just quit fishing for em in the heat. I know they go deep, and spoons and stuff will catch some, but what about catching the numbers you see in the post spawn time of year?

All suggestions will be appreciated and considered.
