Default I rode the Onion....and survived.....

even caught a mess of fish. Thanks Horsehoer for the whole trip from breakfast till the end. Nice to meet a crappie.com legend. And you too Mr. Corker. Already had met Doodlum at a relic meeting, good to see you again. I got home alright, was a long day after getting up at 4:00 and driving three hours to meet Shoer at his house. He had breakfast frying in the pan when I pulled in and it was tasty too. Onion was loaded so we rolled out, hit the lake. The fish were cooperative, biting very well. We were picky and only threw 6 nice ones 11 inches and up into the cooler. Jeff just had to go and catch the biggest one, over 13 inches at one of his honey holes just before we left, I still think is was a pet fish he trained for the occassion. The pull from a 40 + inch gar on a crappie rod was worth the trip, thought I hooked a submarine. Was a very enjoyable day, I look forward to doing it again sometime. Hope your procedure went OK on Tuesday Jeff. Thanks again for everything, come on up this way when you get a chance. Headed to Briery tomorrow and leave Friday for Lake Erie and two days of walleye fishing. Cleaned those fish after the long ride home and every one of them had a completly empty stomach, nothing in them. Good luck to you that get out...and thanks again Mr Shoer.

After my trip, I lost interest in boating at all for quite some time. I can go now, but I can't bring myself to leave site of the boat ramp.

Have Jeff's pee cup manors improved, or are the rumors true?
