Thread: Buggs Island report 3/23/09

Wanted to fish Sandy creek.....it was muddy. Kept on across the bridge to Grassy Creek....Stained to muddy also. Could not find fish on brush piles that were deep. Moved to the back of the creeks found one where the water temp was 57 degrees mid afternoon with good water color. Trolled 1/32 oz. jigs with a small split shot 6 inches above the jig in the back of the creek. Averige water depth 6 to 9 ft. Caught around 20 good eaters....around a pound. All were females busting with roe. Only 2 or 3 blades. Most all were good fish. Lake level was 304.6. I have a feeling these fish will be in the bushes soon.

Nice report! What creek did you catch the fish in... Sandy or Grassy???
