    Default Blacknose Brad

Squirrel Hunter stopped by this afternoon to pick up some vegetable plants, and we decided to shoot over to the Nottoway for a while.
We went back to the area that I did good on Thu. Stayed there for about an hour or so and caught...15-20? Many small, but several good keepers. Maybe Brad can chime in on the numbers, I usually just estimate.
The bite slowed there so we moved to a couple of new areas, slow trolling minnows under bobbers. The fish seemed scattered, with a few pockets of hot action. I wasn't keeping fish since I was going to cook crappie for supper.
We put a good number in the well for Brad to have a fry. Not sure how many it was exactly. I do know we threw back several solid keepers towards the end.
At any rate, Brad told me he wanted to catch a blacknose, and here it is. I should have taken a picture of him with it when he first caught it, cause it darkened up so much in the livewell, it's hard to see the stripe. It also appears to be a very funny fish.
Nice fish Brad! (did you measure it?)

We took a head on picture to try to show the stripe. You can see the spot on the lip anyway.

Nice fish Roof Master. You almost give our plan away by the big grin on your face. As plan we still on for going back to Les's special hole next week?

Hey Shellcracker, thanks for the plants and the fishing trip.
Forget AC, I won't tell anyone where we were Your secret is safe with me. I wish, however, I could tell the guys how deep the fish were. They would be surprised.
