Find you an old dead or live would probably work too crab. Step on it and throw it in your basket. I guarantee if there is any around they will be after it.

Tony, if you can't find a crab like Bill suggest I'd get me a chicken neck. I use to keep a trap overboard at my inlaws back in the 70's and also built a floating holding pen to keep the ones I caught in. We would always have more then we needed for flounder fishing.

I don't think so. Am busy with my duck hunting right now and still have alot of work to do to the blinds. Another bait to try is what is left of a crappie or perch once you fillet it. It has been so long ago I just having a hard time remembering.

Crushed crab or cut up menhaden (bunker) works great. There are still lots of gudgens in the river here.

Why don't you report on your duck hunting? You afraid I'm gonna hit you up for an invite? You know I'm a dead eye on ducks and your total tally would go way up if you brought me along

    Default Minnow Trap Bait

Noted What The Other Chaps Said. My Buddy And I Used To Use Dry Dog Food. Seemed To Work Well In The Spring When We Were Catching Them For Flounder Fishing.
