290 acres but it aint gonna happen in 2 days here. :p I lucked out 1st time in 4 yrs and not riding an open-air Farmall. I've spent plenty of time in that Case but not on wheat. He's planting soft red wheat, variety slips my mind.
Planting 150 lbs/acre. I only got 30 acres in but didn't actually get to plantin till 2:00 PM. Had to empty drill of rye seed and move combine, tractor & drill,
and 2 trucks, 1 with seed wheat and an empty to cut beans into. Bout a 5 mile move from the home place to the fields. Put the grain header on combine- had to remove the auger shroud and auger (lifts out) in the
combine hopper to get in the shed the header was in. Not bad six 1/2" bolts
and the shroud/spout comes off and auger lifts out. Lacked 5" clearance to get under the roof.
Once he latched on and backed out with it I started planting and he went
and started cutting soybeans-the 1st of them.

51 Dodge. Who on here has, or remembers trucks that you started by turning on the key, usually having to pull out the choke, and with the ball & toes of yur right foot on the gas you angled the heel of the same foot over and depressed the starter arm coming up thru the floor below & a little right of the gas pedal?
