    Has anybody been crappie fishing on gaston this time of year looking to go up there just see if its worth it or not any information will be appropriated

    Its very rare you see any posts here about Gaston. I use to fish there years ago.

    I don't know, but...........It's a wonderful lake. All kinds of fish. Good deep water. 10,000 docks. Rocks. Bridges. So, there has got to be some schooled up crappie around. I would just go. Look over a map or just gauge the shorline and find some docks with deeper water and/or bridge pilons. While you check those out, keep an eye on your fish finder for brush piles or other structure off of the bank.

    It is kinda surprizing that nobody talks about Gaston crappie........humm.........mayber it's a well kept secret. I hope you go. Good luck and give us a report.
