W T G Dayton .
Just sharing my recent CT scan. Yep, I’m not ashamed to talk about it. I officially have Crappie Thumb!
YouTube
Fished lake Chesdin Friday morning. 60-70 tiny crappie all on 1/16 oz jigs. They ate pumpkinseed/chart and black/blue/chart. All hanging in dock shade.
Saturday morning my wife went with me to Janes River. I promised we would not stay to long. Launched at 7am. Back on the trailer at 9am. 30 crappie. Mostly good size fish. Minnows under cork. Wife caught almost all of them. I baited and unhooked. Great time.
Sunday morning back to James River with buddy Keith and BIL Shawn. Big crappie ate all 36 minnows. Then we reused the dead ones. Then caught fish on jigs. 50-60 fish. Biggest 14”. Hand full of 13”s. Many fat 12s. They were many and hungry. Gosh that was a blast! Off the water before 10am.
What a blessing to get out and laugh and catch fish and remember how awesome our world can be. I pray that all good people can find a minute or hour or day to have fun, smile, decompress and reflect on something positive.
Sincerely,
Tubby McShort

A great day, Dayton

When I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations I have a good day
Sounds like fun, Tubby. I been fishing and fishing, not targeting crappie so won’t talk about the catching. Having fun though. Just totaled up June, been 51 times this year.
Sounds like allot of good times in those trips. Most of the world is good, media is just making things worse.
Just get out when you can and enjoy while you can.
