Slow during the 4 hours I fished the Northwest River, today. The river was way up--maybe higher than I have ever fished it before. Yeah, and it was way muddy, too. I only got bit six times, and three slipped off beside the boat. The other three made it home for dinner. Water temperature had risen to 53* at the surface, and I could only get bit in 6-7 FOW.

Still...it was great to be fishing.
