Good luck. Sounds fun. Son's high school fishing team is hitting Dutch Gap in the morning. Then we are heading to Providence Forge for some sporting clays.

Have fun. Hoping to hear a great report.

caught some really nice crappie but not in the usual haunts, had to do alot of prospecting to find them. perch were biting as well just not the size id like to see just yet. did have quite a few 14 inch fish caught deep on wood. i guess ill give the nwr a try this saturday but i have never been there so it should be a good waste of my time

If you show up will put you on fish. Fish should be bitten good this weekend. The weather looks to be good this Bash. Been limiting out the last three trips Then I braved the weather this past Saturday and managed 6 crappie and 1 keeper size striper by 9 am then the winds started to blow and with the air temps was 19 degrees and COLD. Found a lot of fish and had a lot of nibblers. Tuff day but they'll bite this weekend. Come on down and meet and greet and and have a fun trip.

I'm gonna try to come just a long trip not knowing anything about the place. We will see what happens. Hopefully I can find a partner.

I got to fish the floating pier at rockahock Sunday morning for about 45 minutes while the wife was at church. Caught a few medium crappie and watched one boat catch a few also. Air temperature was 65 deg. but windy. Wish I had more time but at least I did get to wet a line! It was 42 deg. at 5:30 when we got home to Pa. We still had a inch plus of snow on the ground.
