I've decided to stop only lurking and for 2018 I will start participating since I fish pretty much every weekend. I will keep them simple and to the point.

Fished Saturday at Western Branch for the first time and got skunked. Wind was a beast and after 5 hours decided to hang it up.

Thanks all, been fishing NWR and Pungo Ferry last couple of years and pretty much always brought home fish. Feels like I'm starting over with this "reservoir thing". Guess figuring it out is half the fun. Gonna try again Sat. we'll see.......

That's why they call it fishing and not catching. Keep trying, you will find out them.

When you say Pungo Ferry I assume you are on the North Landing River? Any luck out there? It's a lot closer to where I live but I do better in Suffolk.

yes, I generally do pretty good there, it is the North Landing river. I usually launch at the park. Crapppie run a little bigger than NWR.
