Thread: late report

What's going on??? Can't even catch any brim. Fished chick river last wk. 1brim before lunch, 2 bass and 6 cat after. That's between the 2 of us. Decided to go to chick lake this week, instead of briery creek, closer, glad I did. They weren't biting, my buddy caught 2 brim and one cat. I caught 3 or 4 brim, the longest one may have been 3" long. worms and jigs. Tried long lining a couple of times, nothing. My brother was there in his boat, and he had caught only 3 fish, 1 brim 1 crappie 1 cat.

Been experiencing the same thing down my way for the past couple of weeks. Crappie have not been biting. Decided to change things up and dump the boat into the saltwater on Tuesday. Managed to catch 24 stripers and 2 puppy drum before lunch. All were short. It was a lot of fun on a 6' bass pole anyway.
