Water and ramp conditions are ALWAYS interesting to other fishermen, so posts covering just these things are important.

I am somewhat guilty but living in Pa. I only get down a few times each year. My inlaws are in there mid 90s so I spend as much time helping them when I am in the williamsburg area as I can. Also they posed the outflow of Diaschund. (spelling) I used to fish it with some good success at times. I could fish it the floating docks at Rockahock and a few other spots from shore. Seems there is less places to bank fish. Also they started to charge a small fee to get into Wallermill park. I would fish off of the fishing dock there also. I am not going to pay even a few dollars to fish for 10 minutes to find there are no fish in the small bank fishing area.I understand not posting the exact spot to fish. I am a flyfishing guide and see the same situation in my area. Thanks for all the help I have been given and look forward to so fishing in the future.

I would like to thank Roy for not blaming me putting a contest on here. LOL In fact I am going to start a BG contest on this forum soon. I think you will like the new format. More laid back and everyone posts to one place. I'm learning , Roy , and I miss you guys posts also. "D"

Nothing worth posting YET!
I can't wait for Whitehurst to re-open! That can be one great lake for a variety of fish. Looking forward to getting back there next year. I generally make a post when I have been crappie fishing, but not always. Also, I have a tendency to read the board without logging in, thus I don't make many comments. However, the weather is getting cold so I know I'll be hitting the water more for crappie/yellow perch in the near future. Look out Suffolk!

I'm still having issues with my back, haven't fished at all this year. So, I haven't been on the site very much. Even thinking about selling my boat and gear unless one of my sons wants it.

I read the forums a lot, but never post cause I'm a amateur crappie fisherman. I typically throw crappie jigs to trees and wood in the water, no real method to my madness other then that. When I get them, I get a lot, but it's not the norm. I do know that about this time, I'll light up the crappie on my home lake in Suffolk. Typically now - late december I'll get 50 - 80 crappie a trip, but average size is 7 - 12 inches, no monsters

I can't see a difference, most people wait till winter to light it up.

I am a fall winter fisherman. Only the saltwater has been so productive I have not even gone freashwater fishing this fall. I also think many folks had so little work that they used to fish more, now there is so much work that there is no time to fish. I may go soon as I am hearing the NWR is so hot they are jumping into the boat!
