Great fish! Thanks for the post.
I caught a few yesterday from the bank on Bobby Garlands and hand tied kiptail jigs. I only had 6 keepers but I got this beauty on a hand tied jig. She was 15 1/2 inches
I started using 2lb line trout fishing last year and I have changed to it for my crappie outfits. I was nervous at first about breaking fish off but it seems to be okay. now hopefully the next trip I won't break one off. Lol
Idunno, wellswings LIKED above post

mike (papermouth scaler)
it's cold.. it's raining....it's too windy...
"fish on!!!"
(What a great day for fishing) lol.
Awesome fish. What was the weight.
Don't have any scales :/ Anyone know how accurate the rapala mini digital scales are? I'd like to weigh a few just to get an idea of weight... Thanks for the compliments... Usually the fish are 11 to 12 inch fish but this year they are a lot better fish... Good for me lol
Nice slab, where did you catch it?
I too use 2 lb. some times. Works great. Just do not try to lift a good slab out of the water with it. I have learned the hard way a few times. Thanks for the post.
That's a beauty! One of them every so often makes you forget the days when you can't buy a bite.
Very nice.
South Holston Lake is where I caught it. I went to the lake today and didn't catch but 3... They keep dropping the lake and the fish have moved out of my reach... And yep you have to be careful with the 2lb but I can cast so much further it's spoiled me.
