Thanks for the report. Good job.
Hello all
Been awhile since I have posted or fished for that matter, so here's how I did.
Started around 0900 there were only two boats out.
water temp peeked at 51 degrees, I fished nibbles and reluctantly minnows on one rod.
I caught two nice size flyers on nibbles.
I moved to deeper water by midafternoon 10-13 FOW and found Grinnell, crappie and perch (yes yellow perch) isn't it early for perch?... anyway I caught 3 perch two keepers (No milk squirting out) finished the day with 13 included 7 crappie. ( I kept two 9 1/2) if you don't want to count them then 11 keepers.
Most were caught on minnows, they didn't seem to want nibbles..

Good report, nice to see yellow perch coming back. Yea I thought Feb also for perch. I caught a 8" flyer last week, thing was thick and biggest I have seen.
What kind of boat do you fish out of. I was their till 11:00 and the fishing was slow. I caught 22 with only 7 keepers which I released. I fish out of a 17 1/2 ft G3 with a 70 hp yamaha. N/W river is my winter fishing hole. Great report!!!!!
Jim I think I seen ya, I was in a G 3 with 9 Hp Yamaha, I was past the "No wake sign" trying to start the outboard, had not been out for months, engine was really stubborn,
usually I see Dean, UTR, or Bennett out that way, I was looking, but not a lot of boats was out surprisingly.
I was fishing at the peak of the park ( south end), I ask one gentlemen how he did and he had 5, I had 1 at the time (Was that you?
Anyway I hope to get back out again soon, my fish supply was nul... until Sunday LOL
Even the Wife came out to see if I caught fish.... LUVED IT! :-)

Good report. I have just started crappie fishing. I have a red Ranger RT 188, wave if you come by. I have only done this twice and have boated a couple.
nice report
Great report and nice pictures.
Thanks for the update. As for the YP, it's not unusual to catch good ones in December. I've caught perch this time of the year that were spawning, it's just the numbers you get in the next two months. I haven't been down there in quite a while. Guess I'll have to make a trip.
