Saturday-Chick Lake-43 crappie
I haven't been doing much fishing this year but I did manage to spend 6 hours on Chick Lake today and boated 43 crappie with the biggest at 1lb even and 3 or 4 others at 15oz with most around 11"-12".

The 1lber caught 8' down in 12' of water with Purple Mist BGBS.
I caught them anywhere from 1' down to 8' down in water 6' to 12'. Most were caught on a pearl BGBS, a few early on the Money jig but with the blue skies I went with pearl most often. I showed surface water temp at 63-65.

Was there Friday for a few hours and only found a few. Didn't have your luck. Haven't fished the Chick Lake in probably 15 years. Was there with Anchor Man. We were marking em, but few bites.

Awsome. I still dont know the lake well enough to find the crappie. Only know a few spots. But i did go to the dam sunday.on the riverside. And caught 10 crappie with 7 keepers. A couple with scars or sores? And about a dozen small cats. Fish were kinda deep. 15 fow +
