Western Branch Boat Ramp
Beginning on Monday, July 6, the contractor working on the Western Branch Dam will begin using the boat ramp and a portion of the parking area for material storage. The contractor will generally only use one side of the ramp, leaving the other side open for public use. However, there will be days when the property will be closed to the public for safety reasons. The closure may be for several hours, or a whole day. When I know the closure dates I will post them here and on our website.

Update to Western Branch Boat Ramp
The contractor informed me that they will begin working at the Western Branch boat ramp starting tomorrow, Aug 4 and should be complete Aug 11. For safety, we have recommended that the boat ramp be closed during this time. I am trying to find out if they will be working on the weekend and will open the gates if I am able.
