I think that the English consider a carp a delicacy. Never ate one myself but knew some country folks that did.

Hardly a cheap combo and your right it wont pull in a carp but I dont think you could either on a lightweight 4lb test rod and reel. Just for the record only crappie and 2 rockfish in my freezer and im good with that

decent.....but I recall recent post stating had to go get some reels due to cheap combos....oh but I can catch 20 lb fish on 4 and 6 lb line.....good rod decent drag done.......
