Someone told me they have not bought a lake permit in years. Nobody is hired to check anyone and it is Norfolk property in Suffolk. So Suffolk police do not police it and Norfolk police do not police it. So I ask who does? I get a permit every year and enjoy the lakes. I do not want to see everyone lose a privilege on account of a few bending the rules.

I always buy my permit at the boat ramp. I thought I was helping the guys that run the bait store at cahoon. I have owned a norfolk permit for years.
