I got your PM Bruce. Just have not had time to get you a good response. Don't sound like I have been missing much on the fishing front and these cold fronts coming through every 3 to 5 days sucks too with the fishing.CF

Looks like room for a 16' rod box down the center. Wouldn't take much to get that done.

Definitely got the hull length Ranger Danger. Just don't have the smarts or the funds to make that kind of augmentation. Had thought hard about taking off the passenger console for more room but even that presents a whole different set of challenges and because of the time it is taking to do the work inside the hull, I ruled that out. Ready to get this job over and got a long way to go yet.CF

Ed, the flat area between the passenger console and gunnel, might be a perfect spot for one of these Driftmaster organizers. Rod butts up on front deck and rods laying outside the console. The angle would put rod tips over the water, but that would be fine while fishing. Other arrangements could be made for heading down the road.

That is probably the route I will be going Dayton. Seems like the best option.CF

Run a piece of tubing from the transom to both decks. In the winter you can attach it to the outboard water outlet and run the warm water where you want. Nice to have a warm water supply to warm your hands. Often thought of doing this in my splashwell to have a place to wash my hands after cutting up shad for catfish bait.

made some progress the last couple weeks here some pics.

Floors tore out and foam tore out....

The transom has been removed, the two boxes on each side that were foam filled, and all the bilge/ livewell pumps have been removed.

I have cleaned up all the edges with the grinder where new wood will be glassed in and am currently running a wire wheel over all glassing surfaces in the boat. I knew this prep work would take the longest time and it has took a good couple weeks on this part but when I get through with the wire wheel, I will vacuum everything real good and then take it out to the pressure washer and clean up real good, put back inside and run a fam on everything for at least a week to dry it all back out. I have a lot more done since these pics I am posting now. More pics to come soon.CF

Here is where I am as of today. getting close now on the final prep work.

Wish it looked as neat as the outside hull.

I got just a couple hours left on the wire wheel and then vacuum it out and then wash with pressure washer and then the dry down period.CF

    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
