    Looking for a vacation destination that has a good crappie population We will be also wanting to camp in a location nearby What would the best lake be ? Thanks. Knappy

    Buggs Island - huge lake, several campgrounds

    Lake Anna - another big lake, at least 1 public campground probably more

    Chickahominy Lake (also River)

    Plus your Carolina license is good on Buggs. You won't have to get a Va license.

    No place in NC? Spend your money out of state? The roads are so bad in VA, I am not going back for the Fishing Expo next year. Beat my truck and display trailer and my butt!
