now that is some hawgs for sure...........
Today was a day of crappie fishing that Jimb, Lyodon, and I will remember for a long, long time. We landed a total of 13 citations with 7 of them being 17" or more. Now you all know a 17" crappie is hard to come by, but to catch 7 in a half day of fishing is unbelievable. We caught over 100 fish all casting twister tail jigs. The water temps were 73/74 and most fish were caught in 7' to 10' of water. Jim, thanks for inviting me for such a great day of crappie fishing. I've had some good days fishing in Florida this past year but nothing can compare with today. Having trouble posting pictures, I will keep trying, hopefully I will figure it out soon.
