Adding one is easy (an hour or two, max), and depending on make & model, they can be very affordable. I've added hitches to a Dodge Caravan and a Ford F-150. Both were easy & the kits were a perfect fit.

Tap Out,
I would be honored to receive your John Boat, and have the opportunity to carry on it's proud tradition.
got laid off from my $95K'/yr job back on 12/01/11, and haven't found suitable replacement as yet. I was forced to sell my boat back n 2012.
I have resigned myself to accept that I am now semi-retired, and I've accepted a job driving School Bus for Spotsylvania Count Schools. The up side to this job is summers off!
I'd really appreciate it if you would consider me as a recipient of your boat.
I'm really looking forward to getting back into crappie fishing this season.
Thanx in advance,

Tap you are a good man. God will bless you for doing this out of the kindness of your heart.
I only fish on days that end in "Y" - (Retired Navy)
Here's a pic, I will see if I can dig up some more.

That's great, George. I hope it goes to a deserving member who really needs it.
VaCrappieMan, I've pulled my current jon and one prior to it with a Ranger that just has the ball screwed onto the bumper?
Don't outsmart your common sense!

Very generous offer! I am sorry for your loss. I just took your advice and let my wife know how I feel. In todays crazy world it is easy to take our blessings for granted.
Very generous offer Tap. One thing to think about guys. With the number of crappie that has been put in that boat, I would think they, would head into a thick weed bed, when it slides off the tralier.
Congrats on the new boat! What is the new one? I will bet a 1448 MV no middle seat. I agree I have done well at Ed's they told me price was cash as in green money and that is what I brought and all was well. I had a crappie jon just like yours and it was a good boat. I sold mine on account of the cost of keeping up the 4 stroke. Mine was a problem and repairs were costly I wish you luck on a new one. Whomever get the old 2 stroke will be a happy camper they will run forever. My current motor is a 1987 2 stroke that starts mostly on first pull.
