So after many moons of hinting to the boss lady, she purchased me a new fish finder. She got me a Lowerance 5X with down scan. That was the good news. The bad news is Ive got to wait before install the thing because I have got to go to work for 3 weeks tomarrow- looking at getting home around 12/24. Any one want to help me get this thing dialed in when I get home? I don't see it being to terribly hard, but there is always a learning curve to getting it right. Im also redecking and reconfigureing my boat sometime in jan/feb. The layout has been tolerable for the last 17 years, but the time has come to mix it up.
