Good job, kids, fish, smiles, it doesn't get any better than that.
Back on the water after a couple of slow months. Still learning the waters of the new fishing grounds of the upper Potomac. Launching out of Leesylvania State Park and I've finally found a few spots that are producing. While the numbers aren't there the quality is. Over the last two weekends I have yet to catch a single fish that I would consider too small for keeping. The average has been 12-13" big at 14.25 and small at 10.5. Today saw 7 ranging from 11-14" (two 14's). Would have kept them all but a pesky livewell pump is now on the MUST replace list.
Below are a few from today (would have had more pics but the phone died). A few pics of yesterday's four keepers (Mmmmm) and a couple with my son last weekend.

Very nice fish, Congrats. Those kids look happy.
Be careful with the pictures or you will find plenty of company at those spots. Watch your camera angles and keep the structure out of the pic if you can.
As the weather gets colder, you can keep the kids warmer with a rain suit as the outer layer. That will trap the heat in and not allow the cold breeze to get in. Really shines when you have to drive up the river. They will stay warmer and you don't need 5 layers on.
Great report and pic,s,kids all smiles, they will remember things like that, keep up the good work.
