    Surely the secret weapon won???

    Anxious to know what happened.

I just got in about 30 minutes ago... I caught 3 Crappie, 4 yellow perch, 2 White Perch, 4 Bowfin, 2 Green Carps, and 10 billion undersize Rockfish... Nothing on the Crappie or Perch to weigh in.. That was humbling for sure!

I've been waiting for one of the guys to post the group photo. I can tell you we had 33 fishingpersons and JimB won the crappie division with a 1.03lb crappie. A younger guy won biggest yellow perch. I believe his name is Kit. Not sure what the weight was.

Congrats to Kitt and Jim! No big fish for me. Had a blast with the small male perch. A few small crappie. One war mouth. Two hand sized sunfish (very dull pink). Chatted with some nice kayak guys. Polished off a box of DD donut holes.

Thank you Slab for the shirts and calendars. Very cool!

Good seeing everyone. Hope to make it back when some of the big footballs arrive.

Congrats Jim and Kitt I think the Yp weight was 0.85. I will say someone weighed in a 1.05 YP but declined the win as someone gave him the fish!! C.C campers are a great bunch! Lots of Kayaks out in the cold those guys are tough, is was cold early. I bought home 5 keeper crappie, 1 0.77 YP,, caught a 22" chain pickerel, 4 strippers 14-16" and all of them were on a 16' teley pole. too many small YP and Crappie. and at 2 I had a stripper and a big bow fin on at same time, I will say. spider rigging can be a huge cluster sometimes. It was a great day I had steady action all day. The wind was just right to gently move me up river so I just went with it from shingle landing to close to the state line, caught fish all along the way.

WTG Jimb, glad to see you win. Looks pretty cold there. Are you still planning to go to Buggs the end of the month?
