Thread: NW River Bash (Feb 3rd) Remarks

JD how old is your son? Mine (11) is coming too. Had to bribe him with a night at a hotel with an indoor pool. Glad to see the weather forcast is getting warmer for Sunday. Up to 46 now. That is much better then the 38 they had earlier. Don't like forcing boy to hang out in the bitter cold. Looking forward to seeying yall.

Tap I may have some good info for you especially since I will be in earth's hell this spring and not able to fish there.
Dayton he is now 14 and feels nearly the same way as your boy. One thing that stands out in his mind is last June before I left we went to the NWR and hit a school of stripers. My focus is connection with him and catching any fish, winning would be nice but I have never won so it's not a big deal. Where are you staying? Maybe we could hit a local food joint around here Saturday evening or the wife said she'd cook.

14 and still hanging out with Dad some. You are doing something right JD. I don't know about dinner. We plan to fish Saturday afternoon. It will probably be grab something quick so he can hit the pool at the hotel. Howard and his Dad are coming too
