i met dean at bob's to show him how to run down i/t creek. man was it foggy. we started out looking for the yellow perch. we found some up on the flats around the island. they are starting to show up. after about a hour decided to look for the specks. most of the crappie were in 8ft of water fishing 6 ft deep. to my suprise the water temp went up 10 degrees from last sunday. well it looks like it is time for the perch to start moving in. i ended up with 12 keeper crappie which i released at the ramp. i also had one on and lost at the boat that would have been 1 1/2 lbs. Dean had some perch that were not filled out with row yet or they were some nice males. waiting for Deans report to see if they were males or females. Dean took some pictures and hopefully we will get a report soon. Dean i hope you had a good time learning a new body of water. tight lines JIM.B
