wow! great day for you guys.
Doodlum & double-teamed B-D again today to see if last week's perch bite is still on.
It is.
None of them quite made it to 12", but many were close. Combined we kept 34. I probably averaged 2 or 3 throwbacks for each keepable fish, so that totals us out at somewhere in the 100 - 125 range.
WT ranged from 49 - 51. Lots of greenies, a few CF and bream added to the aggressive YP bite, so we stayed busy most of the day. Unlike last week, I found crappie today--only three, but two were over 12" and this one went 14.875". Close, but no cigar.
It was a great day on the water!
