it took me ten years to catch my first crappie citation and after i broke the ice i have caught citations every year. it does help to fish bodies of water that have big fish. now lets see kerr, b/m, cahoon, kilby, and plan on getting one on all the lakes in suffolk.

CRAPPIE fishing is not a sport, its a way of life!
Citation? That is what you get for driving to the lake too fast right?
Buggs, SML, Philpott Res.,Gaston Res. in VA. Lake Dexter, Lake Woodruff. St Johns River, FLA. Lake Wylie, Santee, SC. Too many In NC to name.
Smith, Little Creek (across N. Hampton from Smith), Prince, Kerr, Back Bay, WB. As a side note, two of those citations came when I was bass fishing (Kerr and WB).
I am down here for training on Canon's wireless digital x-ray system and typically there are 4-6 guys in the class and we usually just get together for dinner but there are only 2 other students in my class and they are a married couple (first time for that, both work at Walter Reed in DC) so I am solo which doesn't motivate me much. Just doing my time until I fly back on Friday.Originally Posted by inlovewithsurfin

I have no idea as I have never kept track of them. I have 1 citation for a 3lb 5oz crappie and will never have another unless I beat that one. Nothing against keeping track or getting a citation for all eligible and I really don't know why I never have.
