5/13 Blackwater-Western Branch

Took the ol ladys grandfather bream fishing this morning, set him up with a tube of crickets, a bucket of minnows and a 14ft telescopic pole, He had a blast. We only managed 9 crappie (most all casting Key Lime on 1/24 baby poop green minnow head) one bass, two warmouth and ALOT of bream few shellcrackers.

Got him home by 2 and figured what the heck im half way to the lake so headed to WB, north end of the lake was 4 FT visability!!! figured I was wasting time after a few WELL placed casts in a good spot. So booked up to the far end of the lake, less than 1ft water clarity and slayed em for 2 Hrs. Had some nice crappie pushing 1.5lbs action was so good I failed to take more pixbanghead However I did get a pic of the first two fish at WB today. Saw a 30-40lb Carp just crusing around, saw several 50+Inch Gar... Heck even had a bass trailing my cork while trolling .9MPH He was chasing it like a dog but never hit it, just barely under the surface.
